Obviously being a clergy couple also adds it’s own challenges to both our ministry and parenting!

We are parents to 3 small boys who are mostly wonderful-

catholic (mostly liberal sometimes orthodox) post-modern feminist ordained in 2003 and curate in westerhope, Newcastle until December 2004. I then served as an NSM in the local Parish church in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne.  Now I am in my first post as a Team Vicar and will soon be THE VICAR of the same church as it becomes a parish church. I am Interested in ecclesiastical law, music and women’s issues and is a wife and mum to 3.

(ps- avid knitter, chained to the sewing machine and generally hates that she is sometimes a bit stereotypical vicar’s wifey)

Mark.

‘Open evangelical’ (if labels mean anything) ordained in 2001 and curate in Ponteland, Northumberland until august 2004. Mark took up his first post as Chaplain to the University of Newcastle (upon-Tyne) in 2004.  He is also a phd student at Durham (evangelical ecclesiology and mission) and husband and father. In 2008 Mark became the stay at home parent, whilst trying to get on with the phd!
