Thanks for asking. Here are a few pictures of them I am trying to develop a watermark for our photos so you may see several variations appear in the next few weeks!

I have knitted things for Reuben before, on his request, and he has often refused to wear them. Hence I am so pleased to be able to share this-

He refuses to wear a sunhat but loves his elephant hat!
We have bought Reuben a book that explains what happens at a waterbirth at home. There is a chance is this baby comes in the daytime that he will want to be around. So we felt something that explained birth and waterbirth would be helpful. The kids will have someone for them if it does happen in the daytime, we have organised all that but Reuben does like to have a nose!!
Anyway, so now I have a baby in my tummy and so does Reuben and according to Reuben, Jude does too!! Anyway Mark tells me that on the way to playgroup this morning, along side the usual dragon and monster adventure that Reuben likes to play out, he became very concerned that we would fill the birth pool while he was out. In fact he insisted that he had to be home and so did Jude, so that their babies could come ou of their ‘bum’ in the water too. We will probably leave it a few weeks and then have a wet run on the weekend so Reuben is even more aquainted with things… and then of course we may use it post birth. My only fear is if he wants to get in with me during labour, though it might be a good distraction, I remember the water being really yucky!! Oh well we will have to wait and see!!
Reuben was thrilled to find his pirate 3/4 length pants on the stairs when he came down this morning and we think they look great. In fact I was so pleased that I decided to make him a proper pirate outfit. I made the waistcoat ad hoc (no pattern) and the same pants again (in less time yay!).
The Skull and Crossbones were cut out by Mark and then I tried applique for the first time using the machine. It is a technique I have been practising lots and I am chuffed to bits that I did this well. I think it looks fab! Will post action pics tomorrow!

Mark and I were finishing off the Birth announcement cards last night when we noticed that the stamp and ink tin was covered in magnetic words (they must have escaped inside the craft crate). It was good to have a small chuckle.
We had a day of laughs yesterday as Reuben is now learning NOT to swipe his nose on his sleeves. This entails me holding a tissue over his nose and saying ‘BLOW’ ( he does ask for the tissue/ wipe his nose). Well he only blows about 20% of the time so far- he seems to think snorting his own snot back up is more effective- a bit grim but very very funny and we have to escape to laugh on most occasions (that makes this a daily occurance as Reuben is snot-boy at the moment!).
