What an interesting and inspiring idea! It seems to me, more and more, that the notice-boards of the church are to be found amongst random browsing on the web- and sites such as facebook and twitter do provide the browsing public. I agree with the author that the church has perhaps yet to go far enough as to present Jesus on the web. It’s an interesting thought. How do we present Jesus in web format? How do we find that authenticity and integrity for the gospel in this new medium? It certainly brings many challenges. I for one may not tweet as Jesus (although I would be tempted to tweet as one of the other figures in Holy Week- such as Mary). Although I use twitter, I’ve not yet got the hang of it. Partly because my mobile network operator isn’t as compatible as I’d like! However- I am seriously thinking about a series of blog postings – narrative style. hmm maybe?

oh and the c_o_e is using twitter for Lent.
I have signed up for the 365 Challenge this year. Partly because I have been using my camera more and more on manual and because we’ve invested in a Nikon D40 (and plan to add an AF-S 55-200 VR lens and flash as we go along!).
Sometimes I will post photos here- usually the knitting ones OR the outtakes 
but I’ve added the link to the picture blog in my blogroll.

Well this was our homework about 3 weeks ago! Reuben was ’star of the week’ at school and we therefore had to do Bertie the Bear’s Diary for the weekend. Bertie came home in a thomas case filled with outfits. As we were bad parents and didn’t realise about the diary until Sunday we ended up taking Bertie to church and here you can see him preaching his first sermon.

It’s a fabulous new knitting and crochet community on the web- good eh? You can keep track of every thing knitting and crochet- needles, stash, projects!
